–Please introduce yourself!
Taeyu : Hello. I’m the cute and youngest member in DOB, Taeyu. Thank you.
Taeyeong : Nice to meet everyone. My name is Taeyeong. I’m in charge of the performance in DOB.
Daehyun : Hello. I’m DOB’s Smile Boy, Daehyun.
HyoJin : Hello! I’m the only female member in DOB, my name is HyoJin. Thank you!
Seongyeol : Hello, This is DOB’s B-BOY creator, Seongyeol.
Jin : Hello, I’m the leader of DOB, Jin.
– DOB has showcased various cover dances until now. How do you select music?
Jin : When deciding which artist we dance to, theres not a particular one, We try to choose from songs that have an impact, something that displays a “cool” impression when we see it the first time.
– What songs had the most response among your fans?
Jin : There is a video editing of 19 songs we danced to, such as BTS and EXO all in one video instead of one song, that video which has 19 songs has the most response.
– The Difference in your performance in the Korean streets and your Japanese stage
Seongyeol : Theres the sound and lighting from the stage is a limit in Korea, Japan has a stage, so we can have images on the back of our performance and theres a smoke effect that can be used too, so there is quite a big difference.
– The strength of DOB’s dance!
Jin : Each member has it’s own strength. Of course, It’s hard to practice, but I think of it’s good response we get from the fans, and with their feedback we try our best to express ourselves more on stage while performing.
– What’s DOB’s average practice time?
Jin : We practice for about 6 hours in Japan, but when in Korea, we have a schedule, so we practice about 1 or 2 times per week for about 3 to 4 hours. We also each practice individually.
– DOB recommended! For your Japanese fans, Where is the place to be at in Hongdae?
Taeyu : There is a bowling alley behind Hongik University. Music is also flowing, there is lots of lights and good vibes, I highly recommended.
Taeyeong : I think that the most famous in Hiroshima is the Street Live music. If you go walking while the street live is happening, you are able to see the various teams that are performing, I think it’s interesting, I recommend that.
Daehyun : The Clothing stores in the alley are very fashionable and I highly recommended.
Hyojin : There is a Timtak shop called Bongchimtak (봉추 찜닭), I would like to recommend it, because it’s my favorite rice shop.
Seongyeol : The food places of Bulukogi near our practice room, reminds me of the taste of my mothers homemade dishes, it’s very delicious, I recommend that.
Jin : Rather than recommending a restaurant or cafe, I recommend that you take a stroll around the town and feel the unique parts of the whole city.
– On October 31st, it’s Halloween! What costume are you going to dress up with?
Taeyu : Since I was little I liked Japanese ninja, so I want to try being a ninja for once.
Taeyeong : I wanted to do Toshio from “The Grudge” but all he wears is pants … (laugh) But I want to try someday.
Daehyon : I’d like to try the criminal in charge of Detective Conan. It’s black and black, but it’s only black and blue … (lol)
HyoJin : I like Harry Potter, so I’d like to do a Harry Potter’s cosplay.
Seongyeol : I want to do The Joker from Batman. My hair color right now is the same hair color for the joker.
Jin : I do not know if I can dress up as him this time but I’d like to do a character named Kaneki that comes out in anime called “Tokyo Ghoul”.
– Tell us the goal you have as DOB, and your personal goals!
Jin : We work as a team, but I have a dream just like each one of us has. I want to be able to enjoy a group of people who can enjoy each other by enjoying themselves without being influenced by reality, regardless of the actual situation of the future.
Seongyeol : I like dancing, but I also like making videos, so I dream of making the story of my day-to-day life from my childhood up until the day I succeed.
Hyojin : My goal is to dance the dance that I set my mind on.
Taeyeong : My personal goal maybe a little bit different from what I am doing now, but not so much, I want to raise my ability and teach others. I want to teach dancing to many different people someday.
– Please give a message to all the fans at the end!
Taeyu : I’m cute and cute, so please look cute!
Taeyeong : First of all, I’d like to say thank you very much to everyone. I have so much i want to say to fans, but I want to express myself in wonderful words and communicate directly to you with them, I will studying hard so I can.
Daehyun : I’ve been showing you all my dancing side until now, but I would like to show you all my singing in the future.
HyoJin : Thank you everyone so much for supporting me and DOB. I will continue to do my best to continue to show my best performance.
Seongyeol : As long as the fans support and cheer for us, I will try hard and do my best, without giving up.
Jin : “(In Japanese)”Beautiful dreams!” it means “Good-night” and “Sweet dreams” in Korea, but it’s common. When I thought about something nice, I thought “pretty” was good. If I keep saying this greeting, I think it will be a good word with a special meaning someday.
